Julien Chorier wins 2009 Grand Raid
On Sunday 25 October 2009 Julien Chorier won the 2009 Grand Raid de la Réunion in a little over 22 hours, having completed the
150 km and total ascent of 9,000 m and running an incredible race in the lead. Julien is monitored by BioparHom and its Z-Eval
service which provides body composition analyses for athletes. Julien put in a very clear-headed performance, hydrating and
feeding optimally throughout the race. Julien told us that he drank almost 18 litres of drinks over the 22 hours of the race,
concentrating his hydration during the hottest parts of the day. We can never stress enough the importance of proper hydration
